Priceline.com is an American company and a commercial website that helps users find discount rates for travel-related purchases such as airline tickets and hotel stays. Priceline.com’s success as one of the biggest players in online travel is all thanks to our incredible, dedicated team of over 500 people. We’re a diverse group of creative, self-motivated individuals with a passion for making travel easier, more affordable and more rewarding for our customers.
Priceline.com is part of the Priceline Group (Nasdaq: PCLN), which includes Booking.com, Agoda.com, Rentalcars.com, Kayak.com and now OpenTable.
Each of these businesses, with 12,000+ total employees, operates as an independent brand of the group. While collaboration happens daily, each brand manages its business as it sees fit to grow.
Founded in 1998 at the birth of the internet age, priceline.com shook online travel into motion and challenged the status quo with its bold and innovative entrepreneurial spirit. With its breakthrough Name Your Own Price feature, priceline.com quickly became the traveler’s cool best friend. Priceline.com added published-price travel and took it up another notch. The view from the Empire State Building. The Las Vegas Strip at night. Sunsets in Baja. Croissants in Paris. The whole world was now just a click away for price-conscious travel consumers everywhere.
Building great products for over 15 years.
